Rev. Tamara Boynton

Rev. Tamara Boynton is a mother, a minister, and an organizational specialist. She has lived in Colorado since 1993. She received her BA from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and her M.Div. from Iliff School of Theology in Denver. She is an ordained clergy in the United Church of Christ and has served as campus minister CU-Boulder, as Minister of Education and Spiritual Formation in Lakewood and Denver, as solo Pastor at Berkeley Community Church, and as Associate Conference Minister (twice) for the Rocky Mountain Conference of the UCC. She has worked extensively with children, youth, young adults, and adults in camping, experiential education, mentoring, and retreats throughout her life. More recently, her work with churches and non-profits has piqued her interest in the psychology of organizations as influenced by leadership, culture, and history. Her time managing restaurants in her 20s makes her a bit of a foodie. Her two teen aged children, husband, and family dog give her great joy. She enjoys playing music, cooking, organizational discernment, NPR, her kids’ athletics and performances, long walks with friends, activism, and competitive euchre.
