Dr. Savita Ginde currently serves as VP/Chief Medical Officer of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains [PPRM].  She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, completed medical school in the British West Indies, and then went on to complete residency training in Family Medicine at Dartmouth. Following residency, she went on to complete the Fellowship in Family Planning at the University of Rochester. After Fellowship training, Savita moved to Colorado and took her position with PPRM.

Savita has been providing family planning and abortion care for over ten years and has expanded PPRM’s abortion services and added transgender and men’s sexual health services in select PPRM health centers.  She is passionate about reducing stigma around abortion as well as improving access to reproductive healthcare.  Also, Savita created, and now directs, PPRM’s robust clinical research program and a successful comprehensive abortion care training program serving clinical trainees from across the country.

Serving as PPRM’s liaison since November 2013, Savita is proud to be a part of CO’s RCRC Board of Directors. In her free time, Savita enjoys spending time with her family, hiking the outdoors, traveling, and cooking.
